This policy explains what information this website (elppedsgi.com) collects and how it is used. It covers the website only. How we use and protect your child’s medical information is described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.

Please Don’t Send Medical Information Through the Website

The contact form and email are not meant for medical questions or health details. For anything about your child’s health, please call or text us at (915) 615-7005, or use our patient portal. If this is a medical emergency, call 911.

Information You Give Us

Contact form: your name, phone number, email address, and message. The form sends this to our office email account so our staff can respond. We don’t use it for marketing.
Text Us: the “Text Us” button is provided by Weave, the messaging service our office uses. Information you enter there goes to our office through Weave.
Patient portal, online scheduling, and bill payment: these links take you to our service providers (healow/eClinicalWorks for the portal and scheduling, Weave for bill payment). Their own privacy policies and security protections apply.

Information Collected Automatically

Website analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit our site and which pages are useful. It uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device, and browser. We do not use analytics on the patient portal, and we don’t send health information to Google Analytics. You can opt out with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
Language switch: the English/Español switch uses Google Translate and stores your language choice in a cookie.
Embedded content: our map (Google Maps), fonts (Google Fonts), and videos (YouTube, loaded only when you press play, in privacy-enhanced mode) come from Google services, which may receive your device’s IP address and basic browser information.
Server logs: like most websites, our web host keeps standard logs (IP address, date and time, page requested) for security and troubleshooting.

How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share website information only with the service providers listed above, which help us run the website and communicate with you, or when required by law.

Children’s Privacy

Our website is meant for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information through the website, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Our website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). No website or internet transmission is completely secure, which is another reason not to send medical details through the contact form or email.

Your Choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will still work.
You can ask us to delete a message you sent through the contact form by contacting us.
