New Patients
We see patients from birth through age 20. Here is how to get started.
-
Referral & insurance
Many insurance plans require a referral and authorization before your child’s first visit. Ask your pediatrician’s office to fax the referral and recent records to 855-618-2437. Check with your insurance plan if you are not sure.
-
Call to schedule
New patients, please call or text us at (915) 615-7005. Our team speaks English and Spanish. Online appointment requests are for established patients.
-
Before the visit
You’ll complete registration and consent forms before your visit or at our front desk. Please review our Notice of Privacy Practices.
-
The day of the visit
Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment to check in. A parent or legal guardian should come with the child, or an adult they have authorized in writing.
What to Bring
- Your child’s insurance card
- Photo ID of the parent or guardian
- Referral and/or authorization, if your insurance plan requires them
- A list of current medications, vitamins and supplements
- Recent test results, imaging or records from other doctors
- Notes on symptoms: when they started, what helps, what makes them worse
- Your questions for the provider

Insurance & Billing
We accept most insurance plans. Many plans require a referral and authorization before your child is seen, so please call us before your first visit to confirm we are in network and that the referral is in place.
Copays and deductibles are due at check-in. If you don’t have insurance or plan to pay yourself, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges. Ask our front desk, or learn more at cms.gov/nosurprises.
Billing questions? Call (915) 615-7005, or pay your bill online.
Appointment Policies
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time. We have a 15-minute grace period after your scheduled time; if you arrive later than that, we may need to reschedule your visit.
- If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know at least 24 hours before an office visit and 48 hours before a procedure.
- A parent or legal guardian should come to each visit. Another adult (such as a grandparent) can bring your child if you authorize it in writing; ask our front desk for the form.
- Procedures such as endoscopy or colonoscopy need a separate consent. We will give you preparation instructions ahead of time.
